 Chapter four

HIP   HOP   WORLD – IT’S ALL COMING BACK

[Once again after the dancing and drinking, the girls excuse themselves to visit the beach]

Rhythm: this place is really a wonderful atmosphere
Harmonica: yes is a good environment to relax and forget whatever is bordering us
Harp: it has a surroundings that is good to meditate
Maracas: talking about meditation, I have to perform my morning prayer; I am way behind the usual time
Rhythm: I saw repertoire praying earlier maybe you should ask him where you can have your prayer
Maracas: that’s really what I have to do see you girls later
Rhythm: all right girl
Sitar: hello everybody
Rhythm: what’s up girl, good morning you look stress
Sitar: yeah I had a lot of drink yesterday; I almost had a hang over
Tambourine: baby girl you already have the hang over
Sitar: you probably right, anybody with water there?
Rhythm: sure you can have mine
Sitar: thank you girl, oh I’m so tired, the sight here is unbelievable
Harp: yes the ambiance of the beach is really good for us
Sitar: by the way girls there is something I want us to talk about
Tambourine: and what may that be?
Sitar: well about the guys I want us to decide among ourselves, I’m just saying this so there will not be disagreement
Tambourine: Sitar stop beating about the bush go straight to the point
Rhythm: yeah girl what’s on your mind?
Sitar: so you girls without me even saying it, you want us to bite each others fruit, don’t you all think we should choose our fruits and have it
Harp: oh I know where you are going, but for me, I don’t need a boy to sleep with me
Sitar: wait a minute harp, don’t get me wrong we don’t necessary have to sleep with them, all I’m saying is that we need a companion in the opposite sex, if for nothing but to at least make us feel at home even though we are far way from home and of course you know to keep us warm
Harp: don’t you worry your fine self harp, I can keep you warm
Sitar: I hope you are not a lesbian

            [They all giggle]

Mandolin: all rights then Sitar tell us which one of the boys you want?
Sitar:  I’m not going to shy away from this, I may tell you all, I really like bongos, that boy has a deep voice like those rapper
Mandolin: you like Bongos, and then I will go and talk to him about you
Sitar: oh no wait up I don’t need you to help me talk with him, besides I’m a sophisticated lady I can handle him
Violin: all right! Miss sophisticated lady go and do your thing baby!
Harmonica: so violin what about you, which of the boys really inspire you
Violin: inspire! I like the way you put that, I’m still being cautious, but I may settle down for repertoire
Harp: repertoire!? [Harp exclaim]
Violin: yeah repertoire, is there anything wrong in him?
Harp: no is just that I don’t you stand any chance to woo him, considering the religious and tribe differences
Congas: that’s rather surprising for harp to show interest in a boy, I hope you going after repertoire
Harp: hell no, his not my type
Congas: girl! I can see in your face you like him
Harp; no girls I told you all I don’t his tiny butt
Violin: well I guess is going to be a real battle between us girl
Harp: girl there is no battle here; I made it clear I have nothing to do with him
Violin: good then battle is over
Harmonica: violin let me ask you one thing do you think repertoire like you?
Violin: I hope he does, but if he does not, I may have to get the hell out of here
Congas: anyway while you girls are busy talking about repertoire I got myself the real man
Harmonica: who is the real man?
Congas: yeah you all know him as banjo, but I call him my one and only real man, if not for him where can we see the fish to eat
Harmonica: oh I see banjo, his a nice choice for you, both of understand each other
Congas: you are right girl, there is nothing like having a man that understand you better in a relationship
Harmonica: yes indeed, trust and understanding is vital in a relationship

[In the meantime castanets and maracas are making use of their culinary skills with the help of tabla and tuba]

Castanets: is about time we eat some real food in this island
Maracas: I wonder what you boys have been eating before we arrive
Castanets: what else could they have been eating, if not beer and fish?
Tabla: we really have to thank banjo for that; he went deep into the water to get the fish
Tuba: yeah he came to our rescue that time; most of us were all ready hungry
Castanets: so if not for him every one would have starve to death
Tuba: no way we got our beer to keep us from hunger
Castanets: the beer to the rescue good for you all
Tabla: yes o thank god for the beer
Piccolo: guys, is the food ready, we are hungry!
Castanets: go and have some beer am sure that will kill the hunger
Piccolo: beer? Baby girl bring the damn food
Tuba: relax mehn, you can have this one
Piccolo: hmm this is what I’m talking about, nice salads, who cook this food mehn
Maracas: castanets and I prepare the salad
Balalaika: incredible, I never knew maracas is a good cook
Maracas: well now you know
Balalaika: yeah I do,
Castanets: why are you so surprise?
Balalaika: I am not really surprise, is just that maracas does not look like someone that can cook such a food she so religious and local

[Maracas is not happy with that statement from balalaika. So she ran out of the room]

Castanets: why do you have to talk about her like that?
Balalaika: but I don’t think I did anything wrong, I mean is just the way I feel about her
Mandolin: I don’t think she takes it real well; she’s really upset right now
Castanets: you are wrong calling a local girl
Mandolin: yes balalaika I mean look at us do we look like one those girls that are naïve we are the real babe
Piccolo: just go and settle with her mehn
Balalaika: all right, I can not believe I’m doing this.
