Hip hop world(chapter one)
HIP
HOP WORLD – ITS ALL COMING BACK
Chapter one
Good day ladies and gentlemen you are
welcome to my fiction story of paradise. It was an unimaginable paradise on
earth I call it hip hop island it was an isolated island free from human evil
deed the sight was amazing, one step inside you will think you are in heaven,
birds are singing the weather cool and hot, the beach is blue. Unfortunately I
can not swim, so is like paradise is becoming boring, so guest what I decided
to invite some of my friends like Tabla, Bongos, Tuba, Balalaika, Piccolo, Cello,
Viola, Banjo, Clarinet, and of course me repertoire.
After some days they all came but were
surprise that such a place exist on earth, we had the fun of our lives, then
next day
Piccolo: repertoire this place is getting tedious m-e-n
Repertoire: what’s the
meaning of tedious m-e-n?
Piccolo: I mean is boring,
there are no babes we have to invite our girl friends
Repertoire: but I don’t have
any girl friend
Piccolo: don’t worry fine boy
we’ll hook you up
Cello: yeah repertoire we all
know you can not woo a babe so we are going to get you a good looking damsel
Repertoire: who exactly do
you have in mind?
Cello: hmm that is going to
be Harp
Repertoire: what! Harp hell
no that girl is too brilliant for me
Tuba: well, most of the girls
coming are bright
Repertoire: but not like Harp,
can you imagine when we probably started talking and she asked me a question
which I definitely know I will mess up, you know that’s going to be embarrassing
Tabla: common guys what’s
going on?
[Tabla interrupt our
conversation]
Cello: we are making
arrangement for our girl friends to come and join us in our hip hop island
Tabla: that’s a good idea but
there is one problem I don’t have a girl friend, besides repertoire don’t have
one either
Piccolo: yeah we know we want
to hook you guys up with some couple of fine babes
[Then balalaika jump into conclusion]
Balalaika: piccolo hold up,
you know repertoire and I we are Muslim right so we prefer some fine Muslim
babe you know what I’m saying
Repertoire: don’t worry about
me, I don’t mind if the lass is a Christian or a Muslim as long as the babe is
tight
Cello: I trust you repertoire
you are a gentle player….. But as for you balalaika we may get you one fine
girl you will like
So after the talking and drinking is
time to unwind, what better way can we do that if not by listening to music, viola
brought his collection of audio compact disc he slot in his favorites rap music
Mr. tupac that brother I must say can rap, I remember those days in school we
give out rap in the class, clarinet, viola and I, oh boy is good to reminisce
sometime, well gone are the days when boys are boys, men were men and rappers
are rappers check out pac here m-e-n ♫ god please let me make it so that I’ll
never steal again or kill again, my only friend is my misery, I wanna revenge
for the agony they to me, see my life ain’t promise but it sure get better I
hope you understand my love letter to my unborn child ♫yeah that is what I’m
talking about that is a good rapper right there God bless that boy m-e-n,
that’s a rap people, well that’s how far we can go is not like we are the
rapper we just imitate. Meanwhile, as the day was getting dark we gathered
ourselves at the edge of the beach and we set up a fire to keep our body warm,
everybody sat down besides the fire and we talked about our life after
secondary school and don’t we all have one or two story to tell. From the ten
of us on that beach that day Tabla was more eager to let out his story but on a
sad note
Tabla: well guys this is my
story but before I go on with it, I must say is not that pleasant so bear with
me
Viola: don’t worry m-e-n let
us hear what you have to say
Tabla: all right as you all
know I come from a very poor family I have to struggle on my own to survive and
I know that some of you don’t know that I lost my dad that even make it
difficult for me to continue my
education, but thanks to my aunty who is helping me out, she took me to kwara
state polytechnic offa where I had my pre- degree programmed but bad for me I could
not made the point they require so I was back at home thinking of what to do
next, right now I am working as a casual worker at the same time I’m preparing
for my joint admission and matriculation board examination, but you all know me
I’m a hustler, I have to survive no matter what it takes and like they say
after dark light come bright light, so that’s my own story who’s is next.
Clarinet: I’m next…
[Clarinet and
tabla had almost the same story, for them is hard knock life]
Clarinet: like you all heard that tabla lost his dad,
I had a similar story to that of tabla is even worst, it all started like a
joke to me when my dad call me up with my siblings that our mother have cancer,
actually we were optimistic that she is going to pass through the sickness, but
after few months as the sickness was getting real bad, she give up the ghost
m-e-n.
Bongos: we are very sorry about that accept our
sympathy, so what happen next
Clarinet: hmm let me see what happen next…
[He pause for
some seconds]
Clarinet: yeah I remembered, we went for funeral after
that my siblings went back to Lagos
but stay to have some fun and my people I really have fun, I met a real
gorgeous babe
Viola: that’s my boy right there a true player to the
heart
Clarinet: you have to be real player to have those
lovely ladies
Viola: true word m-e-n
Clarinet: any way few weeks later I hit the home –
run, you understand what I’m saying
Bongos: yeah we know what you mean m-e-n
Repertoire: oh my God, I don’t believe you did that
Clarinet: well you know sometime when you have the
opportunity to do it you have to do it m-e-n
Viola: clarinet forget about repertoire his pretending
Repertoire: I am just trying to be modest
Bongos: guys
let clarinet conclude his story
Clarinet: there is nothing much to say again, after we
slept together I don’t feel like seeing the girl again so I came back to Lagos . Concerning my
education I had my senior secondary school certificate right I am working to
save some money and go back to school, so that’s just it for now
Repertoire: m-e-n we have heard your story, but I
personally don’t like the love part
Viola: why wouldn’t you like it, you hypocrite
Repertoire: viola live me alone what’s your problem
m-e-n
Cello: Tuba what’s up with you have not talked all
day, perhaps you would like to share your story with us
Tuba: yeah I will love to
Cello: we are
ready
Tuba: it was really a mix feeling for me but I thank
god I see it through it was so painful when I lost my dad, but I guess that is
life you understand what I am saying I mean anybody can just die right now like
hay that man is dead everything just went bleak m-e-n that is the way I felt
when it happen to me, common guys don’t look at me like it was all sad story, I
actually had my share of the love going round
Viola: do you hear that repertoire, tuba had his own
share of love what are you going to do about it
Repertoire: cut the crap m-e-n
Viola: alright repertoire tell us the truth here…. Are
you or are you not jealous because some of us here already make out with some
girls
Repertoire: why in the hell should I be jealous, I believe
you guys have the opportunity, definitely my time will come
Tuba: yes repertoire that’s the spirit
